This shows what a patient will look like 5 days later. This is a 52 year old lady with several year history of throbbing and aching along the inner thigh and lower leg with bulging vein and a rapid increase in spider veins in this area. This is a 50 year old lady with a 25 year history of varices. Her father also had severe varicose veins and underwent two stripping operations. Her veins have become worse in the past 3 years and are quite painful. She had laser treatment of the Great Saphenous Vein and extensive hook phlebectomy. The post op photo is about 5 weeks.

She is a 56 year old lady with burning and aching in the leg. She had Radiofrequency ablation of the Anterior Accessory branch of the Great Saphenous Vein and microphlebectomy of the varices. the post op picture is 3 weeks after surgery. This is a 35 year old man with severe varicosities both legs. On the left he was having brown discoloration from the high vein pressure as well as swelling and heaviness. The after photo is about 3 months following laser ablation of the Great Saphenous Vein and microphlebectomy of the varices.

This is a 60 year old lady who has a long history of venous disease. These are the before and after treatment photos. She had injection of foam solution into underlying perforating veins to stop the high pressure transmitted to the skin. This lady has chronic venous insufficiency from both varicose veins and deep vein disease. Her superficial veins were treated in the past and now treated with foam injection of refluxing tributary veins and perforator veins from the deep system. Her wounds healed in less than 2 months.

This is a 50 year old lady who had large varices from the Great Saphenous Vein, treated with laser and microphlebectomy. The post procedure photo is at 4 months. This is a 55 year old man with a long history of varicose veins who suddenly developed acute thrombophlebitis in the great saphenous vein of the right leg. There was clot extending to the junction of the deep venous system and heparin therapy was started.
After the resolution of the inflammation, he underwent treatment of the great saphenous vein, with partial removal of the inflammed segment and foam sclerotherapy. His recovery was rapid and symptoms resolved. The post procedure photo is 5 weeks later.

This is a 51 year old lady who has had varices in both legs, but worse on the left side, beginning when she was 19 years old. She had both a seft lateral thigh perforating vessel from the deep system as well as reflux in the small saphenous vein. She was treated with ultrasound guided foam sclerotherapy and microphlebectomy. The post op photo is one month since the procedure. The tiny puncture wounds and bruising will be gone is a couple of months. This 36 year old lady had progressively enlarging varices and right lower leg enlargement with each of her three pregnancies. She underwent laser treatment of the great saphenous vein and multiple microphebectomies 2 months before the post op photo.

Pre and post op surgery on the leg treatment of chronic venous stasis ulcer. This lady has extensive spider veins of various sizes. These photos show the patient before and a month or so after the first injections of sclerosing solution. She was advised to wear support hose for a few days.
